I am the Head of the Propulsion Technologies Group (PTG) from the Computing Applications for Science and Engineering (CASE) Department of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). I joined BSC in 2013, first as a postdoctoral researcher and later as leader of PTG. During my time at BSC, I obtained a Juan de la Cierva (2017) and a Ramón y Cajal (2021) fellowships. Our research activities focus on the development of advanced modelling and simulation techniques for the study and understanding of complex phenomena in propulsion and power generation systems. Specifically, in our group we are aligned with the European decarbonisation strategies in the aviation and energy sectors, and we work with companies and technology centers to accelerate the energy transition.
