41st International Symposium on Combustion

Our group has participated in the 41st International Symposium on Combustion held this past week in Kyoto (Japan). The Combustion Symposium is one of the most important conferences in combustion science.

Three members from PTG have attended the symposium:

• Daniel Mira joined the panel for the Mini-Symposium on “AI and Machine Learning in Combustion Science”.
• Emiliano Fortes presented his poster “Influence of Oxygen-Enrichment on the Propagation of Hydrogen Premixed Flames”, a work in collaboration between PTG and Temistocle Grenga from University of Southampton.
• Jean-Michel Klein presented his poster “Wall-Driven Modulation of Detonation Dynamics in Curved Channels.”

This participation reflects BSC’s ongoing contribution to advancing combustion research, from hydrogen-based fuels to AI-driven modeling techniques.
